"The fact that my father's friend could give me free access to the entire area of the famous circuit allowed me to devote all my youthful enthusiasm to the quest for the Holy Grail. That weekend, I found it with the Alsatian Bob Wolleck at the wheel of the pink Porsche 962 which passed and repassed before my eyes every 3 minutes 30, intense minutes during which I was breathless and heart pounding, to catch a glimpse of the "pink pig" colored racing car of the Japanese sponsor."

"At that time, I wasn't yet considering the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and yet it was there, behind the wheel of sports prototypes, that I spent a good part of my career! Even though I never met him, I was deeply affected by the accidental death of Bob Wolleck in the United States, before the 12 Hours of Sebring race. A small part of my childhood went with him, but his car, the pink Porsche 962, is firmly etched in my memory. What a thrill to see it again in miniature a few years later! You can easily understand why discovering the MyLittleRedCar photograph gave me goosebumps."
